1. What is a Photoshop tutorial?
A Photoshop tutorial is a step-by-step guide that shows you how to complete specific tasks in the software. Most tutorials are created to solve a specific problem, like how to sharpen the image with the Unsharp Mask filter.
Alternatively, tutorials can be created to show users how to adjust image settings, like exposure, contrast, and white balance. These kinds of Photoshop tutorials can be extremely valuable for beginner users, as they have detailed step-by-step instructions for beginners to learn basic concepts like composition, colour, and image adjustment.
You will need to have Photoshop to run the exercises. However, you do not need any special training or previous experience with Photoshop. These tutorials can be very helpful to beginners, as they show users in a visual way how to achieve a certain goal, such as sharpening an image with the Unsharp Mask tool.

Where to get Photoshop?
You may buy Photoshop from the official website. If you are not happy with it, you can download it from their software library as a free trial version. You can upgrade to a full version of the Photoshop if you want to. However, you will need to purchase again if you want to create and save a custom profile.
You can also download Photoshop on your own computer for free and use it with your online accounts. This way you don’t need a specific license for Adobe. Adobe is a huge company and they sell computer software, data and online subscriptions for various services, so if you buy any license for Photoshop from any other company, you will need to pay again if you buy a new computer or a new license of the same software.
You may be asking yourself, does Photoshop have a fully-featured alternative?
Yes. It is GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program), a free and open source graphics editor.
It is great for image manipulation and editing tasks where the advanced features of Photoshop are overkill.
For these tasks, GIMP is a good alternative to Photoshop. It is cross-platform and can be used on Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
GIMP is developed by a community of volunteers. You can use the downloads on their website to install GIMP on your own computer for free. You don’t need to be a member of the community, you just need to provide an email address.
After downloading the file, you may unzip it or just click on the package file and click on Extract to get the package.
Once extracted, find the gimp-2.10.20.tar.bz2 file and double-click on it to install it.
Now that GIMP has been installed, you have to download your favorite GIMP plugins to make it more useful and perform better.
You can get the plugins here.

It was dubbed the ‘straw that broke the camel’s back’. David Cameron became the first prime minister in a generation to suffer a Commons defeat and he was punished by having his new boundary reform voted on. It was a decision which contributed heavily to his election defeat that summer. The referendum in Scotland on having a new post-devolution Scotland had been called by Alex Salmond and the SNP-led government. But with the EU vote following shortly after, the very first general election I was going to cover was already taking place.
This was the May 2010 election. It followed a hung parliament after the 2010 general election, in which the Conservatives lost their majority. As the then-new interim Speaker, I was delighted to see Nick Clegg and the Liberal Democrats, who had formed a coalition government with the Conservatives, become the first party to win an outright majority for the first time since 1974. The Liberal Democrats were elected on a promise of a referendum on the terms of any continued EU membership for the UK. It would be a clear referendum on continued membership of the EU – a situation which had not existed for nearly 40 years. This set-up would be used by the Conservatives when David Cameron called a national referendum on the EU in the following year.
The Lib Dems were, in fact, hoping for a role in government of some kind – something which was to be denied them by the referendum which followed. Regardless of the referendum result, the coalition with the Conservatives would be the shortest-lived in British political history. It was called into being by the worst catastrophe to befall British politics since the conflict of civil war. It was a debt crisis which saw the British government enter into a relationship with the European Union called the ‘joint venture’. It is, frankly, a nearly uninterpretable term which now seems to be the price that Europe’s leaders have decreed of the British taxpayer.
The 2010 election was not supposed to take place. After the collapse of an economic plan by Gordon Brown in 2008, some, in particular the Conservative Party, had wanted to force Brown to resign and form a new government. But that did not happen, and in the 2010 election the focus would be the economy. With the government’s ratings below 30 per cent, the Conservatives wanted to concentrate on the economic deficit. However, it was Labour, led by Ed Miliband, who were perceived as being the weaker, more inexperienced alternative. As the date for the election was

_Paint_ is a relatively new feature in Photoshop. It allows you to paint color on top of existing colors. There are two different modes you can use, the Stroke and Paint Bucket, which are shown in Figure 3.7. You can paint on a new layer, a new document, or on top of an existing layer. The differences between the two are that the Paint Bucket will load an entire image in the paint color, while the Stroke tool will allow you to paint strokes of any size and adjust the transparency of the color after you are done painting. You can also click and drag the brush tool to draw a stroke on any layer, including one that’s transparent.
10. _To paint with the Stroke tool, click the brush tool, and then choose the type of stroke you want to use from the options, and then click anywhere on a new layer._
11. _To paint with the Paint Bucket tool, select the bucket tool from the toolbox and click on a new document or layer._
