AutoFlight is a Windows application that connects to the flight controller and is able to:

To connect to your AR.Drone, you have to first plug it to your computer and then open AutoFlight.
Connecting to the device is as easy as plugging an USB cable between the flight controller and the computer (the PC should be running Windows 7 or higher). A LED indicator will tell you if the connection is stable.
Once connected, AutoFlight will show an indicator in the lower-right corner of the screen. It will display the connection’s status (connected or disconnected). If the connection is stable and AutoFlight is not blocked (no WiFi/other network device is connected to your computer), the horizontal value of the indicator is zero.
To interact with the drone device, you can use your computer’s gamepad, or joystick.
It is also possible to fly the drone using the robot’s motion sensor (when the battery is fully charged).
AutoFlight is able to track the drone’s altitude (in meters) and flying speed (in meters/second).
You can access those two values on the top bar (on the left side of the screen, between the battery indicator and the graph).
The battery level is displayed on the drone panel.
The battery is replaced by the charging station.
The battery’s percentage is indicated.
A graph is displayed on the right side of the screen. In addition to those two values (altitude and speed), its graph can show the drone’s 3d position (X, Y and Z coordinates).
During the launch process, the battery’s percentage is set to 100.
To switch to the Flight Mode (on, off), simply click on the green ‘Q’ button on the left bar.
