We have built a new CTI framework which allows you to have completely customisable integration between CRM and CTI. Using this new technology Enbu CTI Framework allows for you to have completely different CTI integration without the need to rewrite a communications handler. Instead of handling many different styles of traffic, you can now customise exactly what happens.
The basic principle behind it is that you can have your own frameset in your server, which means that you can build your own CTI integration within your CRM solution. You can have any number of components of traffic which you require to have CRM integration. As long as your traffic flows the way you desire, it is possible to have fully configurable integration.
The main technology used in this frame is Avaya’s Interactive Connectivity Architecture (ICA) which allows you to have identical traffic model to that used by other manufacturers.
This frame also has a very simple event and action based programming model which means that any event and action handler in the system can be easily configured. The standard feature set provided as part of the framework is also compatible with the Avaya IC Agent system.
As the technology is mainly based around Avaya technology, the minimum requirement to use this frame is that the Avaya Central ICA servers must be implemented.
Basically, CRM vendors can add an extensible, new CTI Frame to their system without having to do anything to their core business logic. You can have complete customisation control.
Functionality:
Before you can use the CTI framework, you must first install a CTI framework into the directory specified in the ENBU CTI Framework Installation Guide.
This guide also provides detailed information on how to install the CTI framework, and a list of sample applications which you can copy and modify.
You need to install the CTI framework into your CRM solution. Once you have done this you can download the framework from the framework download page.
You need to have an installation code for the CTI framework. You can get one from the installation document.
Start CRM and click install.
If you don’t have an install code, you need to make one. Contact us for information on how to make an install code. You will then need to generate your own personal key.
Log in to the CTI framework and click the additional actions menu.
